David and I are best friends of 12 years. We met Freshman year in engineering school and became fast friends and ultimately roommates.

Different jobs took us to different cities after college. Will worked at Intel on the chips that power Waymo driverless cars and David at Rolls Royce on F-35 jet engines.

A few years later, we reunited in San Francisco at a robotics startup called Dexterity, where we were building a robot that automatically loads semitrucks for Amazon and UPS warehouses. We liked the work, but we were more excited by our business-idea brainstorming sessions during our commute to work in David's Ford Maverick pickup truck named Maive. We applied to the Y Combinator startup accelerator, got funding, and quit our jobs to start the company.

David and I have each other's backs. We solve problems together, give each other feedback, and step in to help each other when one of us falls short. Our business would be far less successful without eachother.
